Meet Chiltern’s Young Enterprise Champions

You are all invited!

Chiltern Chamber is sponsoring an event hosted by the Chairman of Chiltern District Council, Cllr Mimi Harker OBE, to support Young Enterprise, a charity which encourages young people to form companies, create a business and run a business.

From 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday 27th April, Chiltern Area Young Enterprise winner Endeavour, and runner up Telos, will be at Cafe Africa, 27 Chesham Road, promoting their businesses and raising funds for their projects.

On March 26th, Chamber Chairman Vee Bharakda reported back on the Chiltern Area Young Enterprise Finals Day at the Beaconsfield School, for she was proud to be asked to chair the judging panel.

Endeavour has created an amplifier, called The A.M.P., for mobile phones which doesn’t use electricity or batteries, and which is completely waterproof. Great for picnics and parties! They also have a fairly impressive web site, as well as a crowdfunding site.!

the 100% book by Young Enterprise runners-up TelosTelos has written a book called The 100% Book, which is by teenagers, for teenagers about teenagers! You can read more about it on Telos’ web site.

Both teams will participate in the Bucks County finals at Buckinghamshire University Technical College (UTC) on 6th May. Further success could take them forward to the regional finals, the UK finals and ultimately onto the European stage! Everyone is cordially invited to come along and support these young entrepreneurs on what could be an exciting road ahead.
