Workplace pension law has changed. Every employer in the UK will be required to help more of their workers to save for their retirement. Employers will need to automatically enrol certain workers into a pension scheme and contribute towards it.
All organisations have a staging date before April 2018 for when they need to do this, between now and December 2016 it is estimated that over 800,000 businesses need to enrol their workers into a pension scheme. The changes require careful planning and typically businesses should commence the planning and implementation process at least 6 months in advance of their staging date.
